On the Movies Anywhere website:
- Click your Profile Pic (Settings)
- Select "Closed Captions"
- From here, you can customize your Caption/Subtitle formatting
- Select "Save" to confirm
On an iOS device:
- Go to your device Settings
- Tap "General"
- Tap "Accessibility"
- Tap "Subtitles & Captioning"
- Select "Closed Captions + SDH" to turn Closed Captioning on or off
- Choose one of the predefined styles (Default, Large Text, or Classic) or select "Create New Style" to customize your Caption/Subtitle formatting
On the Movies Anywhere app for Android and Amazon Fire Tablet devices:
NOTE: The following steps may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
- Go to your device Settings
- Tap "Accessibility"
- Tap "Captions"
- Choose your style of captions
- Tap back button until you return to the Movies Anywhere app
On Amazon Fire TV:
- Go to your Fire TV Settings
- Select "Accessibility"
- Choose your preferred settings
On Android TV:
- Go to Settings
- Select the CC Settings button
- Choose your preferred settings
On Apple TV:
- Go to your Apple TV Settings
- Select "General"
- Select "Accessibility"
- Select "Subtitles and Captioning" and then "Style"
- Select one of the predefined styles: Default, Large Text, or Classic
You can also create your own style:
- Go to your Apple TV Settings
- Select "General"
- Select "Accessibility"
- Select "Subtitles and Captioning" and then "Style"
- Select "Edit Styles" and then "New Style" or "Create New Style." You can also select an existing style to edit
- Change the font, size, and color of the text and the color and opacity of the background. A preview of the style appears
- Press Menu on your remote to save the style and set it as the default
On a Roku device:
- Exit the Movies Anywhere channel and go to your Roku device settings
- Select "General"
- Select "Accessibility"
- Select "Captions style"
- Customize your Closed Captions Style
On LG TV, VIZIO SmartCast TV, Samsung Smart TV, Xbox One and newer:
- Launch the Movies Anywhere app and go to Settings
- Select Custom Captions
- Choose your preferred settings
