It also helps Movies Anywhere and others deliver you more relevant and interesting content, marketing, ads, and promotions and improve relevant product and services. You’ll be asked to renew your Video Data sharing consent every 2 years.
- Update your digital retailer connections: Connections with your favorite digital retailers will expire over time. We can help by sending you to those retailers to update your connections.
How do I know when my Video Data Sharing consent will expire?
We’ll notify you via email or in-app messaging when your account needs to be updated.
How can I renew my Movies Anywhere Video Data sharing consent?
When you need to renew your Video Data sharing consent, we’ll send you an email or in-app message with this link (moviesanywhere.com/account-update) to initiate the renewal process. You will need access to your Movies Anywhere account through a web browser or the latest mobile Movies Anywhere app.
How can I update my digital retailer connections?
You will have the option to update your digital retailer connections during the Video Data sharing consent renewal process, or you can click on the “update” button in the Manage Retailer page from your Movies Anywhere account settings. If your digital retailer connections need to be updated, you can do that from the Manage Retailers page.
Note: Make sure to reconnect the same digital retailer account(s) you were previously linked to.
What will happen if my Movies Anywhere Video Data sharing consent expires?
You can continue to use the Movies Anywhere app or website to play your existing Movies Anywhere library. However, you won’t be able to redeem digital codes, and movies purchased after expiration will not sync to your connected digital retailers.
What will happen if my digital retailer connections aren’t updated?
Purchases made in your connected digital retailers will not sync to your Movies Anywhere account or to your other connected digital retailers.
Why does Movies Anywhere require my consent to share Video Data?
Your consent is required under applicable law to share Video Data from your Movies Anywhere account. You will be asked to renew your Video Data sharing consent periodically.
