You can adjust the style of closed captions displayed while watching a movie. If you want to turn closed captions or subtitles on or off, follow these steps. For instructions on how to adjust the closed captions format, select your device below:

iOS mobile devices
- From the Home menu, tap Settings
- Select Accessibility and go to Subtitles & Captioning
- Select Style
- Choose one of the preset styles or select Create New Style… to customize your closed captions formatting
Android OS mobile devices
- Go to your device settings, tap Accessibility
- Select Hearing enhancements and tap Caption preference
- Tap Caption size and style
- Choose your preferred closed caption formatting options

Web browser
- Click the arrow next to your profile name in the top right corner
- Select Settings
- Select Closed Captions from the left column
- Choose your preferred formatting options and select Save to confirm
Apple TV
- Go to your Apple TV settings and select Accessibility
- Select Subtitles & Captioning, and then select Style
- Choose one of the preset styles or select Create New Style… to customize your closed captions formatting
Amazon Fire TV
- Go to your device settings and select Accessibility
- Select Closed Caption
- Choose your preferred closed caption formatting options
Android TV
- Go to your device settings and select Device Preferences
- Select Accessibility, and then select Captions
- Choose your preferred closed caption formatting options
Roku
- Go to your device settings and select Accessibility
- Select Caption style
- Choose your preferred closed caption style options
Smart TV or game console
- Launch the Movies Anywhere app and go to Settings
- Select Custom Captions
- Choose your preferred closed caption style options
